To celebrate the 50th anniversary of 911 series, Porsche will release a limited series of this legendary vehicle. The 50th Anniversary Edition will be based on 911 Carrera S. Coupe equipped with a V6 engine and wide body similar to ones each all-wheel drive Carrera 4 models have. The series will be limited with 1963 vehicles, such unusual number symbolizes the year when first 911 car was born. The world’s debut of 911 50th Anniversary Edition will happen in Frankfurt Motor Show on September 12.
This special version of 911 Carrera S has a capacity of 400 hp and is equipped with an active Porsche (PASM) suspension system with special settings which take into account the increased track of the model. 20-inch wheels are made in the style of the legendary Fuchs discs and are painted matt black. All vehicles are equipped with dynamic lighting system with bi-xenon headlamps.
Two special colors were chosen for the 50th Anniversary Edition - dark graphite gray and light metallic gray. But if you want, you can always order a black version of this car. Numbers 50 and 911 can be seen on trunk lids, headrests, tachometer and aluminum scuff plates. Oh, and each car has an individual number that is applied to the panel placed near the cup holder.
The salon of this car contains various markings of the first 911 model.
For example, green background of dashboard with white arrows and silver overhangs above the instrument’s panel.
Central part of each leather seat has a fabric insert designed in the spirit of the 60\'s Pepita. The gear lever, decorative panels, door trims and center console with polished aluminum are part of the options made by Porsche Exclusive designers.
The 50th Anniversary Edition of 911 can accelerate up to 100 km/hour in 4.5 seconds (4.3 seconds with automatic PDK). The maximum speed this vehicle can show is 300 km/hour but it, of course, is electronically limited.
