The roof of remodeled Cayenne is equipped with an electric drive. But neither time of transformation nor prices for such tuning is revealed by Americans. Interesting thing is, that there are already people willing to buy this modification. California-based Newport Convertible Engineering (NCE) Company is willing to redesign the luxury all terrain Porsche Cayenne of the latest generation and turn it into a convertible with a soft top. This, of course, if there are clients willing to buy such Cayenne model.
NCE has long specialized in the creation of open versions of different vehicles - from ordinary cars to large SUVs. Company has a large line of redesigned vehicles, including programs of \"solar\" tuning for Toyota, Dodge, Cadillac, Subaru, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Land Rover, Buick and others. And now this line can be filled with Porsche as well.
Not that long ago Newport Convertible Engineering has performed an operation that led to a result of loosing the roof of a very interesting model - Range Rover of the latest generation. Despite the fact that ready version of this model appears not that elegant and stylish (it can be seen on one of the pictures of this post), there already are 47 orders collected for this remodeled vehicle. This is one of the reasons Californian designers think and hope that shown earlier Cayenne with an open top will also collect several tens of potential buyers.
Let us add that such kinds of remodeling of SUVs and station wagons into convertibles is often given to such ateliers as NCE. This way manufacturers don’t have to spend additional money, resources and time to create unusual models, and buyers, as well as the industry, have a chance to have interesting vehicles. For example, a serial production of Range Rover Evoque was approved just recently. And it is not that difficult to presume that this car will also get to NCE engineers and become one of its convertible vehicles people all over the world would want to buy.
