Designed by the automaker of Pininfarina under the teamwork of Lowie Vermeersch, Giuseppe Randazzo and Jason Castriota, the vehicle of Maserati Birdcage 75th is basically a concept car that was launched under the guidance of Ken Okuyama. In the year of 2005 at the Geneva Automobiel Show, the car was launched for public display and was named as Birdcage 75th in order to pay honor to its classic predecessors of Maserati Birdcage of the 1960 along with the 75th anniversary of the Pininfarina. It is reported that the original model of this car was actually developed by the team of Paolo Pininfarina, Peter Aloumanis and Franco Lodato at time of a business meeting that was scheduled in the year of September 2004 at the Pebble Beach of California.

The features of this car Birdcage 75th was built with various advanced mechanisms and technologies, including chassis made of carbon fiber, powerful engine and horsepower brake. It has derived many components and specifications from many notable vehicles such as the V12 engine of the Ferrari MC12 along with the Enzo which is mid-mounted at an angle of 65°. Moreover the engine for this car is also tuned with the Birdcage signature brake of 700 horsepower. It is also provided with a Bluetooth handset that is specially designed for the driver to share his experience with others through cameras and mobile handsets.  The designing for the car took around six months processing which was later filmed in a short documentary movie called the “Sleek Dreams”.
