GMC Sprint
GMC Sprint

The GMC Sprint model is actually a coupe vehicle that was produced during the time period of 1971 to 1977 by the popular automaker group of General Motors. Later in the year of 1978, this car was renamed as the Caballero and again produced with slight renovations through the year of 1987. This car was loaded and tuned with several modern mechanisms and technologies that were sold with rear wheel drive and pickup option that was specially designed for the roads and needs of United States and Canada. it is revealed that Sprint model is actually the GMC’s version of the car that was derived and influenced by the Chevrolet El Camino. Done with features such as emblems and trimmed designations added with wheel trims that make it quite different from that model of Chevrolet, this car was also reduced in size in the year of 1978 to make it a standard sized car for passengers. However the long based wheelbase chassis that was similar with the Caballero and the Malibu versions were kept unchanged for enhanced power and performances. Later in the year of 1982, the car was uplifted to G platform along with A platform which helped it switch to frontal wheel drive facility, making it a convenient and comfortable option.

Made from the GMC division which is also a part of the General Motors group, this car model was done in coupe utility class along with FR layout for better features and facilities. During the production years of 1971 to 1977, the car was known as GMC Sprint whereas later it was renamed to GMC Caballero in the years of 1978 to 1987.
