Daihatsu Kogyo Co. represents Japanese Car Company which exists since 1907 with its headquarters is situated in Osaka. The company had Hatsudoki Seizo Co., Ltd name up to 1951. Luxio will be produced and assembled in PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) - Daihatsu production base in Indonesia and will be sold through PT Astra International (AI).

Retail price suggested by the manufacturer for the Daihatsu Luxio has range from 136 million to 165 million rupees (about 1.10 to 1.34 million yen or $ 11280 and $ 13740).
