The MAN TGS is mainly qualified to do different building activity and for transportation of cargo on the middle distances. The vehicle as a rule is produced in the form of prime mover, however the company saw about the versatility of the model. It is offered with the different versions of the chassis, on which almost every kind of equipment can be placed.
Powerful and full of drive vehicle is equipped with 6-cylinder Common Rail D20 and D26 diesel engines working together with MAN TipMatic® semi-automatic manual gearbox can provide the power output of 480 horsepower in Euro 6 and the high-torque. Low fuel consumption is basing on the efficient engine and the usage of modern exhaust-gas technologies (SCR, EGR, DPF/CRT, Common-Rail). The bearing capacity of the vehicle is 18-41 tons.
The truck is available is 3 variants of cabins: M cab, L cab and LX cab. Thou, it is quite compact from the outside, at the same time it is comfortable for the driver and spacious inside. The M cab is the smallest of the range, thou it even includes the small storage and some roomy compartments. The main particularity of the M cab is its low price in combination with quite comfortable conditions for the driver inside the salon. The LX cab is very good equipped, has a special trimming. It is big inside and has a high roof.
The high safety is provided with the usage of modern technologies, such as ESP, ACC, ABS, LGS, brake assistant and CDC driver assistance systems. The length of the body is 3,600-6,700 mm.
MAN TGS is equipped with 3 variants of 6-cylinder engines. The 10.5 L engine can provide the capacity of 320-440 horsepower at the maximum torque of 1600-2100 Nm accordingly. The second variant has the volume of 12.4 L and the power output of 480 horsepower. The maximum torque is 2300 Nm. The most powerful engine can reach the capacity of 540 horsepower with the maximum torque of 2500 Nm.
