Kia 2.0 delivers strong performance with low maintenance cost. Kia Sportage 2.0 is well packaged with lots of luxury features meant for winning the hearts of the luxury car lovers. It is a compact model of crossover variety of car as produced by South Korean based manufacturer Kia since the year 1993. First generations of cars were manufactured on the basis of engineering platform of Mazda Bongo. Many mechanical components are similar to that of the Mazda versions like engine and transmission details. The model was available in the markets in two variations.

Either you can have it as a crossover fitted with five doors or you may have this as a soft top convertible fitted with two doors. Initially it was available in standard dimensions but then the dimensions are extended. In Asian markets it was available under Sportage Grand version. The luggage capacity of the cars was also widened. The initial dimension was 1,570 liters and it was increased till 2220 liters. The spare wheel was relocated below the wheels from tailgate. Engines powered by diesel were restricted within the European domains only.


The engine specifications of the cars are specified with 2.0-liter gasoline charged units are best included under single overhead camshaft. In 201 it won the award of “Car of the Year”.
