An enviably superior-class product of KYMCO or Kwang Yang Motor Co, Ltd, brought forth by a Taiwanese company engaged in producing scooters, motorbikes, as well as ATVs for audiences located throughout the world. The company was formed in the year 1963 post its separation from the automotive maker company Honda.
KYMCO was formerly making original parts for Honda. Its first complete scooter began rushing down the roads in the year 1970 afterwards it got marketed under the brand name ‘KYMCO’ in the year 1992.
While in the early years post the Millennium, Kymcos emerged as the largest number of scooters that were produced in Taiwan, taking their much deserved position of the 5th largest scooter manufacturer worldwide. The company goes high on technology and is operational in Chengdu, Changsha, Shanghai and Jakarta. At the onset of the year 2008, KYMCO automobile was selected by the BMW to supply engines for G450 X Enduro bikes. While in later part of the year 2013, Kawasaki made it public that their newest J300 scooters are getting produced in conjunction with Kymco. The vehicle models have their roots on a Kymco Downtown 300i.
