Aston Martin Lagonda will soon be Re-launched but only to benefit Middle East markets

The British luxury car maker Aston Martin which is partly owned by Kuwait’s Investment Dar has plans of re-launching its long discontinued model by the name of Lagonda. A minor cause of dissatisfaction although is that the line will be exclusively for the Middle East market and be limited for the enthusiasts of the region. This four door saloon (built during 1976 and 1990) despite of its earlier mixed reviews which blatantly labelled it as the ugliest of Aston Martin’s wonders did manage to nonetheless pull the company out of its financial crisis in the 1970s.

The previous sedan model was hand built and super expensive, but its revival as confirmed by the company is going to be in form of a super saloon and not an SUV (as its 2010 comeback was). The production units will also be very limited and can be expected in early 2015. An exact price range has not been officially released but what is known is that sale would be by invitation only. The price will reflect the model’s luxurious nature and exclusive detailing. It will contain a V12, 5,935cc engine which will be capable of delivering about 600 horsepower of output.
