The biggest automotive show of its kind in Australia, the Meguiar’s Motor Ex held in Melbourne will see this year launch of three concept car, as is announced by the manufacturer Holden. These include Hurricane, Coupe 60 and EFIJY, the introduction of the three marks a celebration of the 66 years of glorious past held by Holden. It marks an acknowledgement of the company’s contribution towards designing, developing and marketing iconic vehicles in Australia.
The design director for Holden proudly claimed in an interview that all three vehicles will retain their individualities and have a unique story to narrate.
The brand is a known global achievement through a part of General Motors and is universally recognised as a centre for show car development and creates concept cars with an excellence accomplished by none. The EFIJY will be hot rod- style car representing the 21st century and it was launched for public use in 2009. It has in its basics concepts of Corvette, while under the hood one can find a V8, 6.0litre engine. The Coupe 60 from 2008 brings in an unadulterated modern outlook to the Holden Company, what with its performance driven 6 litre LS2 V8 and short wheel base version of VE Commodore.
