The world premiere of the Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta took place at the Paris motor show on the 3rd of October, 2014. The Aperta claims to be the most powerful model ever made by Ferrari and is the top open version. It is based on the 458 Speciale that was premiered last year at Frankfurt Motor Show. The roof made of lightweight aluminum adds just 50 kg to its weight. The car weighs 1,340 kg and takes some 14 seconds to open and close the top.
Aperta is incorporated with a 4.5 liter V8 engine that can produce 605 PS at 9000 rpm and a torque of 540 Nm at 6000 rpm. The time taken for Aperta to propel to 0-100 km/hr is just 3 seconds while 9.5 seconds to propel to 200 km/hr; this is because of the powerful engines it comes with.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta is considered to be the most powerful open roof Ferrari made till now. This is clear from the highly impressive lowered front outlook, broad grille, aerodynamic package, long trial front headlights and a sporty strip at the center of the bonnet. The windshield is prepared with the tough core 3D fabric material, cutting the high wind pressure at higher speed.
