Mercedes Benz Acknowledged The Launch of AMG GT Coupe For Indian Market

Mercedes-Benz accepted that it would launch its high-performance AMG GT Coupe in Indian market in 2015. It is such a flagship supercar of this automaker which has been included into the 15 models that have been planned to launch in India; there 15 model are intended to launch the strategy of the Mercedes-Benz named ‘ 15 cars for 2015’.

Last year, this supercar was first made known and later on in the same year unveiled. It is considered that this new is the perfect answer of the Three Pointed Star to the vehicles such as Audi R8 and Porsche 911. When Mercedes launched its new C-Class diesel along with the locally manufactured C-Class petrol, the MD and CEO of the Indian operations told that they had not planned to launch the C-Class so earlier, but they had do so because of the unexpected pressing requirement from the Indian customers.

According to the company, the C-Class petrol has been offered all the CBU spec, and it is also asserted that the deliveries of locally assembled car will be made soon. As the vehicle has been incorporated with the added feature, so the no changes have been made at the price of the vehicle. The demand of the vehicle is high so it is considered that beginning of the CKD operations will be boosted for the CLA sedan as well as the C Class powered by diesel engine. The rate of the localization for the vehicle assembled here is a 35 to 40 percent. It is also expected, if the vehicle receives significant growth, the percent of the localization will be increased. International purchasing office of the company has already been set-up here in India.
