BMW i8 Found In Chennai Ahead Of Official Launch

BMW’s i8 car, which is a hybrid car, has been seen in Chennai India ahead of its official launch which is due to 18 February in India. It is such a hybrid car which has been made a lot of commotion in auto market of the India since the news of its launching has been spread in India. It is also expected that this new hybrid vehicle of BMW will be launched in the Indian market; it would definitely create excitement into the heart of the Indian buyers.

It is a car which has been incorporated with a three-cylinder twin-turbocharged 1.5 liter engine. This powerful engine has been linked with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery. This combination of 1.5 liter engine and electric motor is so powerful that it produces 360 bhp of power that makes this car capable of catching 0 to 100 kilometer per hour in just 4.4 seconds. The vehicle has been equipped with the top speed of 250 kilometers per hour which is electronically limited. According to the BMW, the fuel efficiency and the performance of the carbon fiber car have been gotten better for they keep a tab on the Co2 emission levels consequently it has been kept as low as     49 gm per kilometer.

This hybrid car of BMW is not only the power, but it has been designed in such a manner that makes people tempt for it. The i8 has been incorporated into the futuristic design philosophy that makes its looks alluring. This is the car which was made available into the market for sale after a year of its official launch. First of all, it was sold in the European market, and later on, it was made available in different auto market of the world. The demand of this was so high that it surpassed the number what was planned by the automaker.
