Lamborghini Aventador SV with thunder 740 horses breaks 7 minutes lap at Nürburgring
How about the experience of 740 horses of thundering hooves hammering your skull while you cling on to the seats? Who can produces such brain-numbing experience except the Lamborgini Aventador SV with its V-12 unleashing an auditory assault that would send your senses into a spin while it just takes under seven minutes to complete a Nürburgring lap?
This example of Lamborghini is the lightest and fastest and the zaniest version produced by the supercar maker and watch it break the under 7-minutes barrier while completing the Nürburgring which it completely devoured.
Well, we are not talking about any other Aventador here, it is actually the LP750-4 Superveloce and with fantastic aerodynamic capabilities. This one is in excess of 50 more horsepower while it carried 110 pounds less than the off-the-rack examples and made up of carbon fiber to the hilt. Watch it, only 600 of the examples are going to be built by the Lamborghini and it will be priced a shade under $500,000 which would put it above a hundred grand over the “standard” version of Lambo.
If the fastest Lamborghini is your menu, then the extra dollars are worth spending on. The proof is on the video just posted by Lamborghini, where you see the Superveloce taking on the Nürburgring lap with gusto, and conjuring up a scorching 6:59.73 lap time. For the record, it is 9 seconds faster over the Nissan GT-R NISMO, and only a wafer thin under three seconds behind the almighty king of the fast lane, Porsche 918 Spyder. You may find the video turbulent, but you will still see it if it is only for the audio.
This performance should be credited to the lighter curb weight of the vehicle and its extra horsepower supported by the extremely grippy Pirelli P Zero Corsa rubbers that the SV was wearing while tested. It is a real heroic feat, but the identity of the driver is not known to us yet.
