Opel group decided to refresh the design of Opel Corsa vehicle. This hatchback is going to be renewed. The changes will touch upon the interior design, the general exterior. The power source will be replaced by the innovative turbo charged diesel 1.6-liter CDTI ECOTEC.
It will be the second time Opel group has changed the design of its product. Hatchback Corsa has been produced since the year 2006. So there is nothing left than to bring something new to the model. Otherwise, the car won’t be able to compete with its closest rivals on the market. Nowadays the world is waiting for another new model, produced by Opel. That is why the company modifies its successful hatchback. By doing this it tries to feel the gap between the new and the old generations of the vehicle. The latest data show that the car will get new headlamps and suspension as well as new engines and interior. This will make Opel Corsa reach the competitive edge in B-class of cars.
Renewed hatchback will get new bumpers, grille, and headlamps so as to make the exterior look fresh and modern. Experts say, that the front side of the car will resemble that of Adam’s subcompact vehicle. As for the interior, it will change significantly. The company is now trying to make the car competitive. The materials and the overall design of Opel Corsa leave much to be desired, and it doesn’t allow it to beat the closest rivals in the segment. As for the engine, it was presented by 1.7-liter ecoFLEX engine, able to produce 130 horsepower. When the changes become introduced, Opel Corsa will be equipped with four-cylinder turbo diesel 1.6-liter CDTI ECOTEC engine. But in the lineup petrol-charged versions will be optional in some models. This will definitely upgrade the popularity of the vehicle.
The world is most likely to witness the presentation of the restyled Opel Corsa at the auto-show in Frankfurt. But the brand-new model will appear only in the year 2015.
