Suzuki Sidekick car was introduced to the world in 1988. On some automotive markets it is called the Suzuki Vitara, and on the Japanese market it is sold under the name of Escudo, for Spain it is Santana. The name Sidekick was just for the American market. The model was also produced by Chevrolet Geo and named Traket.
The car Suzuki Sidekick is a full-frame SUV. It is equipped with a fully independent suspension that is represented with wishbones, coil springs and rear shock absorbers, which ensures excellent controllability on the road. Throughout its production cars Suzuki Sidekick experienced only one upgrade in 1995. The car has received some changes in its appearance; they can be seen in a new chrome grille. As for internal changes, there we see a rounded shape of instrument panel visor and the presence of airbags.
